Keehyung is an Assistant Professor at the School of Accounting and Finance, University of Waterloo. His research draws from disciplines of economics, psychology, and machine learning to shed light on decision-making behaviors in online platforms as well as consumer marketplaces.
He has taught big data management & analytics, business information systems, and programming in Java & Python for the past years. He has won a number of teaching awards at the CUHK Business School and the Wisconsin School of Business.
Prior to joining the University of Waterloo, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the CUHK Business School, Chinese University of Hong Kong. He received his Ph.D. in Operations and Information Management from the Wisconsin School of Business, University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to that, he received M.S. in Computer Science from Seoul National University, and B.S. in Computer Science (with minor in Business Economics) from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
